Do you know someone in the DSYG community who you feel deserves to be recognized and honored for his/her service to the YG this year? Someone who has helped you grow and mature in your walk with Jesus? Someone who consistently inspires you?
Good news! Nominations for the “My Servant Leader” Awards are now open!
Members of the DSYG community can nominate someone by submitting a short essay. [approximately 150-200 words]
The theme for the essay is “My Servant Leader” and should describe how that person has inspired you with their work for DSYG or has helped you grow and mature in your spiritual journey this past year.
The person you write about can be your parent(s), a sibling, a friend, a pastor, or a teacher. Students are welcome to nominate multiple individuals by submitting an essay for each person.
We hope that, by writing this essay, students are reminded of the extraordinary people God has placed in his/her life.
The student who submits the most gracious or impactful essay will be able to present his/her servant leader with an award during the awards ceremony.
