This Lent journey has helped me realize how much more important Christ is compared to the worldly “idols” in my life.

With only a couple of days left in Lent, I hope to continue my dedication to pray every day.

The vulnerability that innately resides within myself can be the very key to restore my relationship with God.

Ultimately, I am glad that I made the commitments that I made, even though they were not easy for me to stick to all the time. It was eye-opening to cut out the things in my life that I was prioritizing over God, and see how these distractions were preventing me from experiencing the joy of His love.

And ultimately, I think that is what Lent is about: acknowledging our own weakness to trust in God.

I have come to really appreciate all the things God has done for us. We do not realize how much He has actually done unless we take some time to look around and see all of his work.
