Psalm 100: 76th Edition

Youhyun TE’s Pick Of The Week .

As we live our daily lives, we often come across guilt and shame. We are clouded by what is in front of us and overcome by fear. But the truth is that we should be rejoicing and hopeful for the life that we’ve been given. The song Washed by the Blood by City Alight puts it in plain words. We have been washed by the blood of Jesus Christ and are no longer slaves to fear. Unlike the physical things that we indulge in, God’s grace is the “living hope that won’t spoil or fade.” This truth is often buried by the immediate things we see and feel. I hope that this song may be a refreshing reminder that we shouldn’t live with guilt and shame, but with thankfulness and rejoicing.
