Man what a beautiful song this is, Jesus Christ My Living Hope. This has been the response song that I’ve been choosing for my recent sermons. The reason is that this song portrays so well what the Gospel is. The songs begins with the state of our sinfulness and how we’ve been separated from God. Yet in our brokenness God rescued us from sin and death through the work of Christ. What then brings us more hope than Jesus himself. Even in the very beginning God promised us a future saviour and how amazing is it that he stood true to this promise. There is no other hope than Jesus Christ who has died and risen and lives forever
