When I heard “No Longer Slaves” by Bethel Music sometime early this year, I did not think it was that great. For me, it was a typical contemporary praise song. But then as days passed by, I could not stop thinking about and humming the song. Especially, the part where it says, “I’m no longer slave to fear. I am a child of God” kept ringing in my ear reminding me that I am a precious child of God. It was so powerful for me that I suggested that the theme of this year’s Jesus Retreat would be “Abba, Father.” Now, I think it’s one of my favorite praise songs. Hope you’ll be blessed listening to it, too.
