Psalm 100: 39th Edition

Paul Yoo TE’s Pick of the Week.

The chorus in The Lamb Of God reminds us of the heart of the gospel. The lamb of God, Jesus Christ, took our place upon the cross. His blood was poured out and in turn our sin was erased. We were deserving of death but instead we are raised to life. Hallelujah to Jesus Christ who saved us through the cross. This is the gospel. This is the truth we must know to be saved.

This is why lyrics are so important. Jesus, when He spoke to the samaritan woman at the well, says that true worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth. Singing truth will lead our spirits to move in thankfulness and gratitude. Truth stirs up in our hearts joyful rejoicing. So, to sing such gospel centered songs will bring glory to God and satisfaction to his people.
