To be a Christian means to live for God’s glory and not our own! For God saved sinners like us through the sacrificial death of His Son, we owe him a tremendous debt we can never repay. Therefore, God’s people are to live in eternal gratefulness and willingness to live for the One who saved them.
In the song “Lord, I Give You My Heart” we get to hear lyrics that say, “Lord, I give you my heart. I give you my soul. I live for you alone.” This is a simple yet beautiful way of expressing our commitment to him. I hope as you listen to the song you’ll get to recommit your dedication to the Lord once again.
