The Bible is the Word of God that has the power to change and move our hearts to live for the glory of Jesus Christ. Some people say God is silent because they can’t physically hear His voice. But that’s not true. God has spoken to us of His love and will for us through the Bible, and He is continuing to speak to us today through it. “Speak O Lord” is a praise/prayer song that asks the Lord to speak to us as we approach His Word. I think this song will enrich your quiet time if you sing it as a prayer when you come to read His Word for the day.
