As I was listening to the song O Sacred King by Matt Redman, this line really caught my ear: “You discipline the ones You love.” Even when God punishes us, it is for our own good. As a matter of fact, His punishment is necessary if we are to learn to how to live and share His love. His discipline is the boot camp for our hearts.
