Pastor Daniel’s Pick of the Week
Wouldn’t it be awesome if God foretold your future? But the Bible says that He will not do that because He wants us to contemplate and rejoice as we journey through our lives as pilgrims.
“In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.” Ecclesiastes 7:14
This verse also means that unlike our interest in life, God’s concern is in the process, not the result. In fact, God already revealed the final result for the believers– the eternity in heaven. Thus, God wants us to rejoice and live our lives displaying faith in all circumstances trusting in the Shepherd who will safely guide us home.
